Movie Reviews
Studio 54 - If you really like Ryan Phillipe or Salma Hayek I highly recommend this movie. The previews make it seem as though Neve Campbell has a relatively huge part, but in reality it's actually quite miniscule. Basically it is a story of Ryan Phillipe getting a job at a nearby club and it goes on from there. Beware - the story is setback during the times of disco clubbin, heavy drug usage, and worry-free sex. (by the way it is a true story)
Selena - This would have to be Jennifer Lopez's best film ever. This movie is based on a life of a Tejano Music Superstar named Selena Quintanilla Perez. (In the music business known as Selena.) She did what most people thought was the impossible. She became very famous, as a Tejano Singer. At that time females never made it. I'm not going to tell you the whole movie, but I will let you know that she does die at the end so get your tissues ready. I recommend this movie to ANYONE.
I Know What You Did Last Summer -Jennifer Love Hewitt(Actress with Party of Five and Can't Hardly Wait) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (From Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Scream 2) star with Freddie Prinze, Jr., Ryan Phillippe and Johnny Galecki. In this movie four teens go out after a party on the 4th of July, and they "accidentally" hit a body and "think" they killed the man. Well one year later Julie James(Jennifer Love Hewitt) comes back for the summer. Little did they know that the horror was just to begin. Well, I am sure you seen the movie, if not YOU BETTER GO SEE IT. This movie is rated "R" for violence and language. If you have a weak stomach not recommended for you or not recommended for anyone under the age of 15.
Rush Hour - Dang this movie is bomb! Highly recommended to anyone! You can even bring your little bro or sis to this one cuz there is no sexual activity involved. Plot: LA PD underachiever James Carter (Chris Tucker) is assigned to a "joke" task by the FBI to "babysit" Lee (Jackie Chan), in order to keep Chan off the FBI case of finding his long-time friend's kidnapped daughter. The fastest hands in the east meets the biggest mouth in the west. This movie is hella funny and has some great fighting by Chan! And don't forget Chan does ALL of his own stunts!
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer- Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brandy are the best two people who could have played the parts like they did. It's about a girl who wins a trip to the Bahamas, and little did they know, that the horror was just beginning. If you have seen I Know What You Did Last Summer, well this one is way better by far. So go check it out. Please if you can't handle adult language and violence please dont see this movie. Review by
She's All That - Zack Siler was an 18 year old guy. He had almost everything going for him. He was a senior, class president, captain of the soccer team, the best lookin guy in school AND he was dating the best lookin girl in school. With only eight weeks left of his high school career, things were going REALLY well. That was until Taylor (his girlfriend) came back from Datona where she spent spring break with her friends. She came back with some really bad news for Zack. While she was in Datona, she met someone new. Brock Hudson, the TV star. As you might have guessed, this wasn't a great way to start his last eight weeks of school. Zack was bummed, and the rest of the ENTIRE school knew about it. But Zack wasn't going to let that screw up his year. His friends were conforting him. "Taylor Vaughan is totally replaceable. Strip off all that makeup and attitude and all you have is a C- GPA in a wonderbra." Zack told them that he could make another Taylor Vaughan. All she needed was the right look and the right boyfriend. Dean, his friend, felt a bet comin on. He bet Zack that he couldn't make any girl popular. Zack took that bet. After some consideration, the girl Dean chose, was Laney Boggs. Laney Boggs wasn't the coolest person in the world. Her mother died from Leukemia so she didn't really know how to use make-up or such. And she didn't really know about clothes and shoes and what not. Laney Boggs was more interested in art. She was dark and like to shut people out. She had a brother who was younger than her, and went to the same school. Her father was a pool guy, so they weren't as rich as most of the other students. But Laney didn't care. All she cared about was gint to art school. Except for one thing, her art teacher didn't like anything she ever made. So it was hard for her to get to the school of her choice. Little did she know, that her "social status" was about to change. Zack set to work immediatly. He took her to the beach and she became friends with most of the popular girls and boys. Everyone liked her except for Chandler and Taylor. In fact, Taylor HATED her. "To everyone here who matters, you're vapour. You're spam.". Taylor told her off at a party at Preston's house. Laney was becoming more open, and more people thought she was "cooler". In fact, even one of Taylor's friends ditched her, and becam egood friedns with Laney. AND that friend nominated Laney for prom queen. Which Taylor was sure she would get. Zack now had only a few weeks to get Laney to become prom queen.
